Cal & Drello's Furniture

Cal & Drello's furniture, Atkinson, NH

Cal and Drellos furniture is owned by Jim and Deb Calandriello.  We live in a Colonial built in 1716 in Atkinson, NH and have been restoring it since 2008.  Our house is an old Post and Beam and it is the second oldest house in Atkinson.  It is formally known as the "Jonathan Page" house as Jonathan Page was one of the three founding brothers of Atkinson, NH.
Jim has been making furniture since 1992.  He started by making antique replica furniture and has transitioned into making furniture with reclaimed wood.  He enjoys sharing the natural beauty that comes through on reclaimed wood which shows a natural warm, distressed tone that is different with every piece.
Jim specializes in colonial style and shaker style furniture. His productions can range from historically accurate to having an industrial edge.
"Preserving timeless beauty in pieces to last a lifetime"
  • Jim travels throughout New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts and Vermont selecting reclaimed wood from disassembled or remodeled historic buildings. He repurposes floor boards, ceiling joists, beams and anything in between.
  • When ever possible the history of the wood is shared.
  • Jim builds custom tables, cupboards and cabinets for kitchen or bath.  All furniture can be made from new wood or reclaimed.
  • Finishes on products can be clear coated, stained or painted.  For painted surfaces, we only use "Old Fashioned Milk Paint".  It is chemically safe and very durable.
  •  We can work from pictures, drawings or your imagination
  • Any custom furniture can be left unfinished
